You asked, and we delivered.
Our Hokkaido Blend Coffee is now available in K-Cup pods!
Enjoy the same rich, balanced taste you love, now in convenient, quick-brewing K-Cup form.
These pods lock in freshness, ensuring every cup tastes as perfect as the first whenever you're ready to brew.
Making our signature charcoal-roasted coffee has never been this easy!
Why K-Cups?
While K-Cups may be considered for convenience only in Japan, our sumiyaki (炭焼き) coffee redefines the experience.
For the longest time, we refused to accept convenience at the expense of flavor. However, so many customers from around the world have asked us for this product that we had to investigate the possibility of making these pods.
What we discovered is that K-Cups are incredible.
Just Like Traditional Filtered Coffee
Each K-Cup has a built-in paper filter, allowing you to enjoy the full, authentic flavor of traditional coffee without the fuss.
So, for those who love making old-school hand-poured coffee, the K-Cups are very similar in flavor. For those who have never tried this style of coffee, you're in for a treat.
The Perfect Way to Retain Aroma
Our other big question was, do these pods stay fresh?
The last thing we want to offer our customers is stale coffee, so we sought out the best company we could to get one of the highest grades of K-Cup available on the market.
These pods are designed to be sealed securely and retain as much flavor and aroma as possible. We wouldn’t have it any other way.
From Sapporo Coffee Kan
Sapporo Coffee Kan's most popular blend is undoubtedly the Hokkaido blend.
In cafés all around Japan, people always demand this blend for their morning brew. One of their busiest cafés is in front of the famous Hokkaido Clock Tower.
When we tasted this blend, we knew we had to bring it to our customers. Sure enough, it's now our most popular blend, too!
Taste Profile
The Hokkaido blend has the rich aroma of the highest-quality beans from around South America and Indonesia. This carefully selected mixture perfectly balances sweetness and bitterness with low acidity. In this roast, expect soothing notes such as dark chocolate and warm smokiness with a bold mouthfeel.
Sumiyaki Roasted
The delicate charcoal roasting process, sumiyaki, is the secret to our well-rounded flavors.
This steady, carefully distributed heat penetrates deep inside the beans, removing more internal water content in a dark roast such as our Hokkaido blend.
The result?
Reduced acidity levels, giving you one of the smoothest cups of coffee imaginable. You won’t find subtle, complex flavors like this in any other coffee pod.
